Confidently Curious

Safe Enough to Struggle.

Last updated June 26, 2026

The short version: we collect your email only if you hand it to us, we use a couple of trusted services to send our letters and deliver what you buy, we never sell your information, and this website is meant for grown-ups.

This policy explains how Confidently Curious, LLC ("Confidently Curious," "we," "us") handles personal information on cc.life and its sections, including the Confius and Safe Enough to Struggle pages. If anything here is unclear, write to hello@cc.life and a person will answer.

What we collect, and why

We try to collect as little as possible. In practice that means:

  • Your email address — when you subscribe to our letters or ask for a free tool like the Space to Grow Audit. We use it to send you what you asked for and the occasional letter. Nothing else.
  • Purchase information — if you buy The 2% Truth, our checkout provider collects what's needed to complete the sale and send you the file. We never see or store your full payment-card details — the payment processor handles that directly.
  • Basic, aggregate technical data — like most websites, our host records standard request information (such as a rough region and browser type) to keep the site running and secure. We don't use this to build a profile of you.

We do not ask for, and you should never send us, sensitive information — financial account numbers, government IDs, health details, or passwords. We don't need them.

The services we rely on

We're a small operation, so a few trusted providers handle specific jobs on our behalf. Each processes only what its job requires, under its own privacy terms:

  • beehiiv — our email and newsletter platform. It stores your email address and sends our letters.
  • Gumroad — our checkout and delivery for paid downloads. It handles the purchase and payment processing.
  • Cloudflare — hosts and protects the site.

These providers act as our processors; we don't sell or rent your information to them or to anyone. We may also share information if the law genuinely requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of people involved.

A note on children

Our stories are made for children. This website is made for the grown-ups who buy and read them. The sign-ups, the purchases, and the letters are all directed to parents and other adults.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, write to hello@cc.life and we'll delete it promptly.

Your choices

You're in charge of your information.

  • Unsubscribe anytime. Every letter has a one-click unsubscribe link, and it works.
  • See it, change it, or have it deleted. Email hello@cc.life and we'll take care of it.
  • Regional rights. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or limit the use of your information. Write to us and we'll honor them.

The practical details

Cookies. The site itself keeps cookies to a minimum. Our checkout and email providers may set their own cookies when you interact with their parts of the experience; their policies govern those.

How long we keep things. We keep your email for as long as you're subscribed, plus a reasonable wind-down period. We keep purchase records as long as the law (for example, tax rules) requires.

Security. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, and we deliberately collect little of it. That said, no method of transmission or storage is ever perfectly secure, and we won't pretend otherwise.

Changes. If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top, and we'll flag anything material. Honesty about what we do with your information is part of the brand, not an afterthought.
