Confidently Curious

Safe Enough to Struggle.

Last updated June 24, 2026

Everything we publish gets checked before it goes out. Every figure in The 2% Truth, and in anything else we put our name to, is traced to a primary source and logged before a single reader sees it.

But “checked” is not the same as “infallible.” Numbers get revised, studies get re-run, and we’re a small operation that reads a lot of research. Sometimes the research moves. Sometimes we get something wrong. When that happens, you’ll find it here, plainly: what we said, what turned out to be true, and when we changed it. No quiet edits, no burying it in a footnote, no hoping you don’t notice.

That’s the whole deal. An honest source isn’t one that’s never wrong. It’s one that tells you when it was.

Nothing to correct yet.

That’s not a boast. It just means the numbers have held so far. The day one doesn’t, this is the first place you’ll hear about it.

When we do correct something, each entry will show:

  • The date we caught it.
  • Where it appeared — which piece, which line.
  • What we said, word for word.
  • What’s actually true, and how we know.

No spin on either end.

Found something that doesn’t hold up?

Tell us: hello@cc.life. We mean it. The catch is a gift, not an attack, and we’d rather hear it from you than leave it standing. If you’re right, it goes on this page, with our thanks.
